WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Tennis racquet, non-marking or white soled tennis shoes, a hat,towel, sunscreen and a bottle of water. You can also bring a snack if you like.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Make sure you check what the weather is before coming out and dress appropriately. You are welcome to wear just a tshirt and shorts though we reccomend fabric that wicks moisture away to really get the most out of the sport. By the way, did we mention that K-Claw makes women's tennis clothes? ;) We can even bring them to the court if there's anything you'd like to try.

DO I NEED A RACQUET?

If you have one please bring it along but we are able to loan you a racquet with notice. We do encourage all our students to get their own racquets to help get a real feel for their game.

WHAT kind of tennis racquet should i buy?

This varies from person to person. If you are unsure it is best if you take your first lesson with one of our racquets and we can discuss what will be the best fit for you. We do not sell racquets but are well up to date with the market and will help you find the best racquet to suit your needs.

I NEed to cancel my lesson, do i still have to pay?

K-Claw will accept cancellations without penalty provided you inform us 24hours before your scheduled time.

IT's raining / it rained, are we still playing?

K-Claw will always contact you to let you know if there is a cancellation of your tennis lesson. You do not need to call us for a weather report. We still play when it is overcast. If a lesson is rained out you will not pay for that lesson.

CAN YOUR LESSONS BE USED AS SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION (P.E.) CREDITS?

Yes, however arrangements need to be made between K-Claw and your high school. Enquiries from schools are quite welcome.

DO YOU TEACH PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITIES?

K-Claw is experienced in both however please make sure we are fully informed of any conditions we need to be aware of prior to booking a lesson.

does k-claw offer leagues?

Our pros play and have played in many leagues throughout town. We are happy to explain your options and find you a local group that shares your passion and ability.

HoW Long Do YOUR LESSONS RUN?

A typical lesson runs one hour. Group lessons vary from 1 to 2 hours. Occasionaly we hold tennis camps that run all day with regular breaks.

are K-Claw tennis pros registered?

Yes. Any pro that works with K-Claw is a registered member of the USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association.
